Hey everyone-
well, I gave it the ole college try with this FSBO stuff, and well i think that such things are probably better left to the professionals, so-we’ve listed with an agent (and all the expense that incurrs) in hopes of getting this thing sold.
thus you slow pokes won’t get the deal you would have gotten, but hey, such is life. I guess there’s an opportunity to take it ‘private’ again, so to speak, but anyway…
so here is the MLS number: BA6852042 use yer favorite broker’s website to see the listing with all those room sizes and other stats i’m too inept to gather. it’s listed through Coldwell banker, not sure if that means anything or not.
anyway we got a hopeful lead on saturday (will know more tomorrow) so if you’re at all interested, set up a walk through/showing–hopefully i’ll have good news to report tomorrow or wednesday.
keep the faith kids.

Firstly, thanks to all of you that passed our link on, and for all of you that have responded with interests and questions. I’m going to build a FAQ in a few minutes to address alot of what all of you have been asking.
Over the weekend, Natasha (my wife) and I had some time to do some further cleaning, and work in the Hickory house, we also relized some of the other things/featurs of the house. Perhaps they’d be of interest to a a buyer, perhaps not…
- we added additional insulation to the attic bringing the r factor to about 39, which is pretty amazing. as a result, we had pretty lean gas bills in the winter
- Tree planted in front yard is a Sugar Maple, brilliant red leaves in the fall, and eventually, could be tapped for sap
- low flow/drip irrigation installed in front flower beds and supply lines run for butterfly garden around patio.
- Rain barrel in back yard
- Whole house humidifier
- Brinks home alarm with smoke/heat detector installed
- Pella storm door on front door (with brass fixtures, key lock
- Electrical outlet in patio garden installed (perfect for adding lighting to patio)
- Shelves and lighting in downstairs storage closet
- disposal (you’d be surprised how many places don’t have one)
- extensive tulip/spring flowers planted
I’m sure i’ll think of more.
Thanks for visiting
